AtmoFlow (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how AtmoFlow collects, processes, and protects information when you use the AtmoFlow iOS application (the “App”).
AtmoFlow is an environmental monitoring application designed to visualize data collected from IoT devices or environmental sensors through a user-defined API endpoint. The App operates primarily on a local-data model and does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 User-Provided Information
- API Endpoint: You may enter a local or remote server address (e.g., “192.168.x.x”) to connect AtmoFlow to your sensor network.
- Settings Preferences: Such as refresh interval, temperature unit (°C / °F), theme mode (light/dark), and other configuration parameters.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Environmental Sensor Data: Readings transmitted from your configured endpoint, which may include temperature, humidity, pressure, air-quality index, light intensity, NH₃, oxidising and reducing gases, and particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10).
- Diagnostic Data (Optional): Aggregated, non-identifiable technical information about app performance, crash logs, and compatibility reports—collected only if you opt in through your device’s system settings.
AtmoFlow does not collect personal identifiers (such as name, email, or location), biometric data, or behavioral analytics.
3. Purpose and Use of Information
The data processed by AtmoFlow is used exclusively to:
- Display real-time and historical environmental readings.
- Maintain your chosen settings within the App.
- Improve functionality, interface responsiveness, and stability.
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All sensor readings and user settings are stored locally on your device and remain under your control.
- No cloud synchronization or third-party data transmission occurs unless you intentionally connect the App to your own remote API endpoint.
- We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of data.
Users are responsible for ensuring that any custom endpoints or network connections they configure comply with their own security and privacy requirements.
5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
AtmoFlow does not integrate with advertising networks, social-media SDKs, or external analytics services.
If you choose to connect to an external API, AtmoFlow merely acts as a data-visualization interface and does not control or process information managed by that third-party endpoint.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access or request deletion of locally stored data.
- Withdraw consent for diagnostic data collection.
- Request clarification about how your data is processed.
Because AtmoFlow does not maintain a centralized server, any such requests apply only to the data stored locally on your own device.
7. Children’s Privacy
AtmoFlow is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us for immediate deletion.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, regulatory requirements, or security practices. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of AtmoFlow after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
